$250 Order Deposit Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 17, 2026

Important: These Terms apply to A-DIY orders placed using the $250 Order Deposit program. By placing an order and paying the $250 Order Deposit, you agree to these Terms. The Deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, except in the specific situations described in Sections 9, 15, 17 and 18, and where applicable law requires a refund.

These A-DIY Deck Order Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to orders placed with Laccoo Outdoors LLC d/b/a A-DIY ("A-DIY," "we," "us," or "our"), 53 Knightsbridge Rd, Suite 204, Piscataway, NJ 08854. You ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to these Terms when you place your order and pay the $250 Order Deposit.

1. Your A-DIY Deck Order

By paying the $250 Order Deposit (the "Deposit"), you are placing an order for the A-DIY deck configuration identified on your Order Confirmation.

Your Order Confirmation will identify the applicable details of your order, which may include:

Deck size
Deck system
Decking material and color
Railings
Steps
Accessories or add-ons
Other selected options
Delivery location
Applicable discounts or promotions
Agreed purchase price (your "Locked Order Price")
Deposit paid
Remaining Balance

Your Locked Order Price applies only to the specific products, quantities, configuration, and options shown on your Order Confirmation. Your Deposit will be credited toward that price.

Definitions Used in These Terms

Deposit means the $250 Order Deposit described in Section 2.
Locked Order Price means the product price shown on your Order Confirmation, held under Section 3.
Remaining Balance means your Locked Order Price minus the $250 Deposit, plus any applicable taxes, governmental charges, special delivery charges, and any products or changes added after your original Order Confirmation.
Final Order means your completed purchase once you have paid the Remaining Balance and released your order for fulfillment under Section 8. Your Final Order is governed by these Terms together with A-DIY's Purchase Terms, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Return Policy, and Limited Warranty, available at a-diy.com/policies.
Released for fulfillment means you have completed every step in Section 8.

2. The $250 Order Deposit

A $250 Deposit is required when the order is placed.

The Deposit is non-refundable once the order is placed, except where these Terms specifically provide otherwise (Sections 9, 15, 17 and 18) or where a refund is required by applicable law.

Once your order is placed, A-DIY may begin work associated with processing and preparing your order, including:

Order review
Configuration documentation
Material and production planning
Engineering-document preparation
Procurement planning
Logistics planning
Order administration

The Deposit:

Will be credited toward your final purchase price
Does not earn interest
Cannot be redeemed for cash
Cannot be applied to an unrelated order without A-DIY's approval
Is not transferable without A-DIY's written approval

3. Your Price Is Locked

The Locked Order Price shown on your Order Confirmation is locked for the configuration shown on that Order Confirmation through August 31, 2027.

Provided your configuration remains unchanged and you comply with these Terms, increases in A-DIY's lumber, materials, manufacturing, supply, labor, logistics, tariff, duty, freight, or operating costs will not increase your Locked Order Price — whether those increases are ordinary or extraordinary. A-DIY accepts that risk for the duration of your price lock.

The purpose of this program is to allow you to place your deck order now, pay the Deposit, secure the agreed price, and choose a later fulfillment timeframe.

Standard Shipping Is Included and Locked

Standard freight delivery to the delivery location shown on your Order Confirmation is included in your Locked Order Price at no additional charge, and that remains true through your price-lock period.

Standard freight delivery means curbside or driveway delivery by a freight carrier to an address the carrier can reasonably access with a standard freight vehicle. It does not include special delivery services, such as lift-gate service where not otherwise provided, inside delivery, placement beyond the delivery point, limited-access or remote-area delivery, appointment or timed-window delivery, storage, or redelivery. Those services, where you request them or where site conditions require them, are quoted separately and are not locked.

What Is Not Locked

Your Locked Order Price does not include, and these are not locked:

Applicable sales, use, or other taxes
Permit, inspection, HOA, or other governmental or third-party fees
Special delivery services described above, or charges caused by a change to your delivery address
Site-specific requirements, engineering, or materials not included on your original Order Confirmation
Products, quantities, accessories, or options added or changed after your original Order Confirmation

4. Program Eligibility

This program is available to customers ordering delivery to an address in the continental United States (the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia). Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, freight forwarders, and international addresses is not available under this program. You must be at least 18 years old and ordering for your own project, not for resale.

Orders may be placed under this program between [DATE] and [April 30, 2027]. A-DIY may close, suspend, or modify the program for new orders at any time; doing so does not affect orders already placed.

5. If A-DIY Offers a Better Price Later

If, before you have paid your Remaining Balance and released your order for fulfillment, A-DIY offers a lower price for the same deck configuration you ordered — whether through a promotion, a discount, or a reduction in A-DIY's regular price — you may choose that better price instead of your Locked Order Price.

To use a better price, you must:

Meet any stated conditions of the offer (for example, order minimums, eligible products, or a stated offer period).
Notify A-DIY that you wish to use it.
Finalize your order.
Pay the required Remaining Balance.
Release your order for fulfillment while the offer is available.

If you elect the better price, it replaces your previously Locked Order Price, and your Deposit will continue to be credited toward your purchase.

Promotions, discounts, coupon codes, free-shipping offers, or other offers cannot be combined or stacked unless A-DIY expressly allows it. Offers made after your order has been fully paid and released for fulfillment do not apply retroactively.

6. Changes to Your Order

Your Locked Order Price applies only to the configuration identified on your original Order Confirmation.

Deck Size Changes

If you change your deck size, the new deck size will be priced at the applicable A-DIY price in effect when the change is made. For example, if you originally order a 12' x 16' deck and later change to a 16' x 20' deck, the 16' x 20' deck will be priced using the applicable price at the time of the change.

Your original Locked Order Price does not transfer proportionately to a different deck size. Your Deposit will remain applied toward your qualifying revised order.

Other Changes

Changes to any of the following may also result in updated pricing:

Decking material
Decking collection or color
Structural configuration
Deck height or other structural requirements
Railing type or quantity
Steps
Posts or bracing
Quantities
Delivery location
Accessories or add-ons
Other products or options

How a Changed Order Is Repriced

When you change your order, A-DIY reprices it line by line:

Any line item that is identical to your original Order Confirmation — same product, same specification, same quantity or less — keeps its locked price.
Any line item that is added, removed, substituted, or changed in specification or quantity is priced at the applicable A-DIY price in effect on the date of the change.
If a changed line item is priced as part of a bundle, kit, or system that can no longer be supplied as originally configured, that bundle is repriced in full at the price in effect on the date of the change.

A-DIY will provide a revised Order Confirmation showing the repriced order before the change takes effect. Your price lock end date does not extend because you made a change.

Products Added Later

Any railing, steps, accessory, add-on, upgrade, structural component, or other product that was not included in your original Order Confirmation will be priced at the applicable price when it is added. If you already know you will need an optional item, we recommend including it in your original order so its price can be locked with the rest of your order.

7. Deferred Fulfillment

Your A-DIY order is being placed now with future fulfillment at your request.

By placing your order and paying the Deposit, you are instructing A-DIY not to immediately ship your deck. Instead, you may request fulfillment when you are ready, subject to these Terms.

You may provide A-DIY with an anticipated month or timeframe when you place your order. This information is used for planning purposes and is not a guaranteed production, shipment, or delivery date.

You should notify A-DIY of your desired fulfillment timeframe as early as reasonably possible. Your order must be released for fulfillment no later than August 31, 2027, unless A-DIY approves an extension in writing.

8. Final Payment and Release for Fulfillment

Before A-DIY is required to move your order into final production and fulfillment, you must:

Confirm your final deck size and configuration.
Confirm all materials, colors, accessories, add-ons, and options.
Provide accurate delivery information.
Approve any required order information.
Pay your Remaining Balance.
Confirm that you are ready for A-DIY to proceed with fulfillment.

Your Deposit will be credited against the amount due. Once these requirements are completed, your order is released for fulfillment and becomes your Final Order.

Customer-requested changes after release for fulfillment may not be possible and may result in additional charges or delays.

9. Fulfillment and Shipping Timing

A-DIY fulfillment and shipping timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Normal / Lower-Demand Periods

Anticipated fulfillment and shipping lead time is generally approximately 10–14 business days.

Higher-Demand Periods

A-DIY generally experiences higher order volume between approximately May and September. During these periods, anticipated fulfillment and shipping lead times may increase to approximately 20–22 business days.

These timelines are estimates and may vary depending on order volume, manufacturing capacity, product and material availability, freight carrier availability, weather, holidays, transportation conditions, Customer-requested changes, and other circumstances affecting production or transportation.

The applicable anticipated lead time begins after your order has been released for fulfillment and A-DIY has received all required information and payment. Transit time after shipment may vary based on carrier scheduling and destination.

If A-DIY Cannot Ship on Time

If A-DIY cannot ship your order within the applicable timeframe stated above (or within any revised date you have agreed to), A-DIY will notify you, give you a revised shipping estimate, and offer you the choice to either:

Accept the revised shipping date; or
Cancel your order and receive a full refund of everything you have paid toward it, including the $250 Deposit, within the time required by applicable law.

This is an express exception to the non-refundable nature of the Deposit. If you do not respond to a delay notice, A-DIY will handle your order as required by applicable law, including the Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.

10. Plan Ahead for Your Delivery

If you know approximately when you will need your deck, please notify A-DIY as early as possible. This is particularly important if you expect to need your deck between May and September, when demand is typically higher.

A-DIY cannot guarantee short-notice fulfillment. A request to manufacture, ship, or deliver a deck within several days or one week may not be possible.

The earlier you provide your expected timeframe, the better A-DIY can plan for your order.

Providing a requested date or timeframe does not create a guaranteed delivery date.

Unless A-DIY expressly guarantees a date in writing, you should not schedule demolition, installers, contractors, inspections, equipment rentals, or other time-sensitive work solely on the basis of an estimated delivery date.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, A-DIY is not responsible for contractor charges, lost labor time, rental expenses, rescheduling fees, or similar costs arising from reliance on a non-guaranteed estimated delivery date. Nothing in these Terms limits any shipment-delay, cancellation, or refund rights that cannot legally be waived, including those described in Section 9.

11. August 31, 2027 Deadline and Extensions

Your Locked Order Price is valid through August 31, 2027.

If you expect that you will need fulfillment after August 31, 2027, you must contact A-DIY to request an extension at least 30 days before that date — that is, no later than August 1, 2027.

An extension must be confirmed by A-DIY in writing. An extension is not automatic or guaranteed. A-DIY may establish a new fulfillment deadline, revised pricing, or other reasonable conditions when approving an extension.

If you do not release your order for fulfillment by August 31, 2027 and do not have an approved written extension:

Your locked pricing expires.
A-DIY is no longer required to honor the expired price.
The Deposit remains non-refundable, except where otherwise required by law.
Any later purchase will be subject to the pricing available at that time.

A-DIY will send at least one reminder to the email address on your order before your deadline, but reminders are a courtesy. You remain responsible for knowing your order deadline.

12. Permits, HOA Approvals and Local Requirements

You are responsible for determining and obtaining any approvals required for your project. These may include building permits, zoning approvals, HOA approvals, architectural approvals, municipal approvals, inspections, setback requirements, or other local or property-specific requirements.

A-DIY does not guarantee that your municipality, HOA, building department, inspector, engineer, architect, or other third party will approve your project.

Documents A-DIY Can Provide

A-DIY may provide available standard product documentation to assist you with your permitting or approval process, including, where available, drawings, diagrams, product specifications, structural information, engineering-related documentation, and other technical product information.

Providing these documents does not mean that A-DIY is applying for or obtaining an approval on your behalf. Unless separately agreed in writing, A-DIY does not:

Prepare or submit permit applications
Obtain permits
Obtain HOA approvals
Determine property lines or setbacks
Prepare site plans
Perform surveys
Conduct soil testing
Provide architectural services
Provide site-specific professional engineering

If your municipality, HOA, engineer, inspector, or other authority requires additional or site-specific engineering, special foundations, additional materials, structural modifications, accessories, add-ons, or other items that were not included in your original order, those additional requirements are not included in your Locked Order Price and may result in additional charges.

Approval Is the Customer's Responsibility

Your order is not contingent upon receiving a permit, HOA approval, financing approval, contractor approval, or another third-party approval. Failure to receive such approval does not automatically cancel your order or make your Deposit refundable, except where required by applicable law.

Customers who are uncertain whether a deck can be constructed at their property should investigate applicable requirements before placing an order and paying the Deposit.

13. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information concerning your project and delivery. This may include dimensions, desired deck size, project height, delivery address, site information, railing requirements, step requirements, accessory or add-on selections, material selections, delivery access information, and requirements communicated to you by your local authority.

If incorrect, incomplete, or changed Customer information requires changes to the order, additional products or services may be required and applicable pricing may change.

A-DIY is not responsible for project delays resulting from information, selections, approvals, payments, or decisions that the Customer fails to provide when reasonably requested.

14. Delivery, Freight, Title and Risk of Loss

Delivery is subject to A-DIY's Shipping & Delivery Policy. Depending on the order and destination, delivery may be performed by a third-party freight carrier.

You are responsible for:

Providing accurate contact information
Providing an accurate delivery address
Responding to delivery scheduling communications
Providing reasonable access to the delivery location
Being available for a properly scheduled delivery when required

Additional charges caused by Customer actions or delivery conditions may be passed on to the Customer where permitted, including applicable storage charges, redelivery charges, address-change charges, special-access charges, or other carrier charges resulting from Customer-requested changes or missed delivery arrangements. If the delivery address changes after the original order, shipping charges may be recalculated.

Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the address on your Order Confirmation. Please inspect your shipment on arrival and note any visible damage or shortage on the carrier's delivery paperwork, then contact A-DIY within the period stated in our Shipping & Delivery Policy so we can resolve it with the carrier. Nothing in this paragraph limits your rights under our Limited Warranty, our Return Policy, or applicable law.

15. Product Changes or Unavailability

A-DIY may improve or update its deck systems, materials, hardware, suppliers, packaging, manufacturing processes, or components over time. A-DIY may use substantially equivalent or improved components where appropriate, provided the change does not materially reduce the intended function or appearance of the product.

If a specific ordered product or configuration is discontinued or becomes unavailable before fulfillment, A-DIY will notify you and may offer a substantially comparable replacement, an alternative product, an upgraded configuration with an applicable price adjustment, or another mutually acceptable solution. You will not be required to accept a materially different substitute.

If A-DIY cannot provide the ordered product and you and A-DIY do not agree on an alternative within a reasonable time, either you or A-DIY may cancel the affected order, and A-DIY will refund the Deposit together with any other amount you have paid toward the unfulfilled merchandise.

This is an express exception to the non-refundable nature of the Deposit, because the cancellation results from product unavailability rather than from a Customer decision not to proceed.

16. Customer Cancellation

You may choose not to proceed with your order.

However, because A-DIY begins order processing and preparation after the order is placed, the Deposit will not be refunded if you voluntarily cancel, abandon, or fail to complete your order, except where these Terms provide otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

This includes cancellation because:

You change your mind
You decide not to build the deck
You select another supplier
You move or sell the property
Your budget changes
You cannot obtain financing
Your contractor becomes unavailable
Your project is postponed beyond the permitted fulfillment period
Your permit is denied
Your HOA approval is denied
Another third party does not approve your project

Amounts you have paid beyond the Deposit are handled as follows:

If you cancel before your order is released for fulfillment, A-DIY will refund everything you paid above the $250 Deposit, using your original payment method, within 10 business days of your cancellation request.
If you cancel after your order is released for fulfillment but before it ships, A-DIY will refund everything you paid above the $250 Deposit, less any non-recoverable costs A-DIY has already incurred on custom or cut-to-order materials, which A-DIY will itemize for you.
Once your order has shipped, our Return Policy applies.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates a refund right that applicable law requires A-DIY to provide.

17. Cancellation by A-DIY

A-DIY may cancel an order if:

Payment is reversed or invalid
The order was placed through fraud or material misrepresentation
There is an obvious website, system, or pricing error
The Customer materially breaches these Terms
Fulfilling the order would violate applicable law
A-DIY cannot reasonably supply the ordered product and no mutually acceptable alternative is available

If A-DIY cancels the order for a reason that is not caused by Customer misconduct, breach, fraud, or payment reversal, A-DIY will refund the Deposit and any other amount paid for unfulfilled merchandise. This is an express exception to the non-refundable nature of the Deposit.

18. Pricing Errors

A-DIY makes reasonable efforts to ensure that prices are accurate. If an order contains an obvious typographical, technical, website, calculation, or pricing error, A-DIY may correct the error before fulfillment.

If the corrected price is higher, you will be notified and may either:

Accept the corrected price; or
Cancel the affected order and receive a refund of the Deposit and any other amount paid.

This is an express exception to the non-refundable nature of the Deposit.

19. Taxes and Other Charges

Unless specifically included on your Order Confirmation, your Locked Order Price does not include applicable sales or use taxes, permit fees, inspection fees, HOA charges, site-specific engineering, governmental fees, third-party professional services, or other project-specific costs.

Applicable taxes will be determined according to applicable law at the time they are due.

20. Financing

Your Locked Order Price does not lock financing terms. Interest rates, promotional financing programs, lenders, qualification standards, and monthly payment amounts may change before final payment.

A-DIY does not guarantee financing approval. Failure to obtain financing does not make the Deposit refundable, except where otherwise required by law.

21. Non-Transferable Order

Your order, Deposit, and locked pricing apply to you and the project identified on your Order Confirmation. The order may not be sold, transferred, assigned, or resold to another customer without A-DIY's written approval.

22. Events Outside Our Control

A-DIY is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations caused by an event outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes or labor disputes, supplier or carrier failure, transportation or fuel disruption, utility or network outages, cyberattack, or acts of government.

If such an event occurs, A-DIY will notify you and the affected timeframes will be extended for as long as the event reasonably continues. If the event continues for more than 60 days, either you or A-DIY may cancel the affected order, and A-DIY will refund everything you have paid toward unfulfilled merchandise, including the Deposit.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, A-DIY's total liability arising out of or relating to your order or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid to A-DIY for the order giving rise to the claim.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, A-DIY will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost time, contractor or installer charges, equipment rental costs, rescheduling fees, or costs of substitute products, even if A-DIY has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any rights you have under A-DIY's Limited Warranty or applicable consumer protection law. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

24. Final Purchase, Warranty and Other Terms

These Terms govern the Deposit, locked pricing, and deferred fulfillment program. Your Final Order is also subject to A-DIY's applicable Purchase Terms, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Return Policy, Limited Warranty, installation instructions, and product-specific terms, available at a-diy.com/policies.

If a later general policy directly conflicts with the valid Locked Order Price shown on your Order Confirmation, these Terms and your Order Confirmation will control regarding that locked price, unless otherwise required by law.

25. What the Order Program Does and Does Not Cover

The Deposit program protects the price of the deck products specifically identified on your Order Confirmation, subject to these Terms.

It does not guarantee permit approval, HOA approval, financing, contractor availability, installation cost, total project cost, a specific production date, a specific shipment date, or a specific delivery date.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

26. Electronic Acceptance and Records

Your order may be entered into electronically. By accepting these Terms and paying the Deposit, you agree that electronic acceptance has the same effect as a written signature to the extent permitted by applicable law.

A-DIY may retain records relating to your order, including your Order Confirmation, configuration, pricing, payment of the Deposit, date and time of acceptance, the version of these Terms you accepted, communications concerning changes or fulfillment, and your electronic acceptance.

27. Changes to These Terms

The version of these Terms in effect when you place your order and pay the Deposit governs your order. A-DIY may update these Terms for future orders, and any update applies only to orders placed after it takes effect.

28. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your state of residence provides consumer protections that cannot be waived.

The dispute-resolution, arbitration, class-action waiver, and venue provisions in A-DIY's Terms of Service, available at a-diy.com/policies/terms-of-service, are incorporated into these Terms by reference and apply to any dispute relating to your order, to the extent enforceable. Please read them; they affect how disputes are resolved.

29. General Terms

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.

A-DIY's decision not to enforce a provision in one situation does not waive its right to enforce that provision in another situation.

These Terms, your Order Confirmation, and any written order-specific amendment accepted by A-DIY constitute the agreement relating to the Deposit and deferred fulfillment program.

Customer Acknowledgment

Before paying the $250 Order Deposit, you must confirm each of the following:

I am placing an A-DIY deck order and understand that my $250 Deposit will be applied toward my final purchase price.
I understand that the $250 Deposit is non-refundable if I voluntarily cancel, abandon, or fail to complete my order, except where these Terms or applicable law require otherwise.
I understand that my price is locked only for the configuration shown on my Order Confirmation through August 31, 2027, and that changes or additional products, accessories, or add-ons may be priced at the price in effect when the change is made.
I understand that I am requesting future fulfillment and that my deck will not necessarily be produced or shipped immediately after I pay the Deposit.
I understand that estimated fulfillment is generally approximately 10–14 business days during normal periods and may increase to approximately 20–22 business days during higher-demand periods, particularly May through September, and that these timeframes are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. I understand that if A-DIY cannot ship within the applicable timeframe, I may cancel and receive a full refund, including my Deposit.
I understand that I am responsible for permits, HOA approvals, zoning requirements, site-specific requirements, and other approvals applicable to my property, and that failure to obtain those approvals does not make my Deposit refundable except where required by law.
I have read and agree to the A-DIY Deck Order Terms & Conditions, including the limitation of liability in Section 23 and the dispute-resolution terms incorporated in Section 28.

PRICE LOCK EXPIRATION

AUGUST 31, 2027

Need additional time? Contact A-DIY by August 1, 2027 — at least 30 days before expiration — to request an extension.

Your locked price applies only to the configuration listed above. If you change your deck size or other products, changed items will be priced at the price in effect when the change is made. If you add accessories, add-ons, or other products later, those additions will be priced at the price in effect when added.

If A-DIY offers a lower price for the same configuration before you pay your Remaining Balance and release your order for fulfillment, you may elect that price by completing your purchase while the offer is available. Offers cannot be stacked unless A-DIY expressly allows it.

YOUR $250 ORDER DEPOSIT WILL BE CREDITED TOWARD YOUR A-DIY DECK PURCHASE.

By placing this order, you acknowledge that the $250 Deposit is non-refundable if you voluntarily cancel, abandon, or fail to complete your order, subject to the exceptions stated in these Terms — including shipping delay (Section 9), product unavailability (Section 15), cancellation by A-DIY (Section 17), a pricing error (Section 18), and events outside our control (Section 22) — and to applicable law.
