At A-DIY, we take pride in providing high-quality, easy-to-assemble deck kits that make outdoor projects stress-free. While decks traditionally don’t have return policies, we are proud to offer a 30-day return policy to ensure your satisfaction.
We offer a 30-day return policy, subject to the following conditions:
The return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
The deck kit must be unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging.
All parts, materials, and manuals must be included for a return to be eligible.
Only purchases made directly from www.a-diy.com are eligible for returns.
Submit a Request: Contact our support team at support@a-diy.com within 30 days of delivery.
Approval & Instructions: If approved, we will provide detailed return instructions.
Shipping:
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure the safe arrival of the return.
Once we receive and inspect the returned items, a refund will be issued, minus a 20% restocking fee plus the cost associated with credit card fees or payment plans fees which is 10% with Affirm or Shop Pay.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Assembled, used, or altered deck kits are not eligible for return.
Returns with missing or damaged components may result in additional fees or rejection of the return request.
Custom or special-order items are final sale and cannot be returned.
At A-DIY, we begin processing your order immediately to ensure quick production and delivery. Please review the following cancellation terms:
Within 24 Hours of Purchase:
You may cancel your order within the first 24 hours.
A 2.5% credit card processing fee will be deducted from your refund. This fee is non-refundable because payment processors do not return it to us.
After 24 Hours, Before Shipping:
If you cancel your order after 24 hours but before it has shipped, a 10% restocking fee + the 2.5% credit card processing fee will apply.
Orders in Transit:
Once your order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. You must wait for it to arrive and follow the standard return process if you no longer want the product.
While we strive to ship all orders on time, there may occasionally be delays related to shipping carriers or logistics. If any delay arises, we’ll notify you in advance and keep you informed throughout the process.
If there’s an error on our part regarding delivery, we’ll take full responsibility and work quickly to make it right. If you're unable or unwilling to wait for us to resolve the issue, a return or refund will be handled in accordance with our refund policy.

If your deck kit arrives damaged or defective, we are here to help!
Report any damages or defects within 14 days of delivery by emailing support@a-diy.com with photos and a description of the issue.
If a part is found to be defective, we will replace it at no cost.
If the issue cannot be resolved, we will arrange for a refund or exchange.
Important Notice: If you notice a small crack on the end of a joist upon receiving your A-DIY Deck DIY Kit, rest assured it's normal and won't affect its strength. Wood may develop minor cracks as it dries, but it remains sturdy. Plus, this area will be covered by deck boards during installation. Your satisfaction matters, so feel free to reach out with any questions.
